If you are an astronomer, on February 15 there was a solar eclipse and a new moon. Events like this offer spiritual principles from which we can learn. According to Alex Myles in Elephant Magazine, eclipses are a reminder that our soul is aware of our destiny and inherently knows which roads will lead to the fulfillment of our mission and purpose.
If you are an astrologer, you know we have entered the sign of Pisces - the sign of surrender and release. This invites another lesson: try to resist the desire to control and manipulate events and instead breathe deeply with faith that the universe will safely guide our souls on their way.
These are Unity Principles! A take away with this eclipse, or for that matter each and every day, is that absolutely anything is possible! So, it is good to take a deep breath, release tension and resistance, and surrender to the love and opportunities meant for us. Begin each day in gratitude knowing that good is in store for you!
If we courageously open our hearts and choose love, despite our fears, our past has the chance to heal, and the universe kindly rewards us by offering more opportunities to give and receive love. What a delightful invitation!
The Leadership Circle is excited about what is in store for Unity in the Heart. And as Mike Babler, LC member, so aptly affirmed, “We have your back!” There are many opportunities for anyone to join in as we are in this time of transition. One opportunity is the March 11 workshop by Rev Phil Smedstad who will lead us in what it means to be a dynamic and thriving ministry and grow together as a spiritual community.
Also, your presence on any given Sunday is deeply appreciated; the energy we share is contagious. It is in coming together that we stay and feel connected. Breathe deeply in faith knowing that the universe safely guides us all to God’s perfect plan for good!
Please feel free to contact the LC with your questions and ideas!
