March 10th is our annual meeting! Please plan to attend! We will have a pot luck followed by our annual business meeting. It’s important to attend if you are a member, because we will be voting on our bylaws. In addition we will give an overview of the past year and plans for the year to come. Everyone is invited, however, only members will be able to vote.
If you are interested in becoming a member of Unity in the Heart, Rev. Jim will be teaching a Membership Class on all four Sundays in February after our service, from 11:45 – 12:30. You will learn about Unity Principles, Unity at Unity in the Heart, and Unity in the context of the New Thought movement. Even if you have to miss a Sunday, be sure to come if membership is of interest to you.

Rev. Jim Fisher is kicking off a prosperity series for the month, based on the book Spiritual Economics by Eric Butterworth. Rev Jim will speak on April 8th and then, after the service, will be facilitating a discussion group about prosperity on each Sunday in April from 11:45 – 12:45. We can all increase our prosperity in all aspects of our lives, if we are willing to ask, to receive, to give and move into circulation. The spiritual laws of prosperity are powerful and profound.
Mark your calendars for Saturday evening, May 12, and invite a friend to join you ! Our Resident Musician, Dennis Curley, and our internationally-performing Music Director, Daniel Abdon, will headline a lineup of our favorite Sunday musicians. All proceeds go to the music program. It will be a night full of fun and great tunes!
Join us after services for our annual spring community meeting. The agenda includes a framework for our plans for 2018 under the guidance of our interim minister, Rev. Sher. We’ll discuss expansion, outreach, community activities, and a new membership drive as well as regular community business such as finances. Bring a dish to share; we’ll have a delicious lunch with great companionship and do some community business.
Saturday, January 13 4:30 –6:30 pm
Please join us for one of Unity in the Heart’s favorite service activities: volunteering to package food for Feed My Starving Children. Feed My Starving Children is a Christian non-profit committed to feeding God’s starving children hungry in body and spirit. The approach is simple: children and adults hand-pack meals specifically formulated for malnourished children, and these meals are shipped around the world.
Sign up at the table in back of the church, or see Faye Nelson.
